Thanks to teachers, learning loss this year was not as bad as projected, NWEA finds

A recent report from NWEA shows that while students in third through eighth grades have demonstrated learning loss because of the coronavirus pandemic, they scored better on assessments than projected. The organization credits teachers, and increased support from parents, for slowing the rate of expected learning loss.
