To fix math education, see it as a program that needs an update

Jonathan Bartlett writes about re-evaluating concepts such as complex numbers, vectors and the Pythagorean theorem to help future generations learn and understand it. He writes that with math education, there are have been so many add-ons over the years that it needs to be stripped down and ”re-factored” so that it is simplified for those currently teaching and learning.
